Co-Parenting
Co-Parenting Therapy and Psycho-education
At Akua Family Therapy it is our hope and desire to help families walk through and process divorce, separation in a way that softens the blow to a child’s self-esteem, emotional health and psychological health. Children are often stuck in the middle, torn between two loyalties, and sometimes estranged from one or both parents during a separation or divorce. This can be a very frustrating and confusing time for children.
That is why we believe in the use of Co-Parenting support for educating co-parents to take a “child centered” approach to cooperating and communicating with your children’s other parents.
